〜Mother’s favorite, again　久しぶりの大阪〜

A very good friend of mine for many years invited me to enjoy Bunraku puppet showtogether the other day.  The moment she offered me the ticket to this traditional form of performing art, I told her that my late mother was very fond of it.

〜Last night’s full moon  盛りだくさん〜

They say that the Full Moon last night was originally called “full moon of fertility” and what is more, it was accompanied by the total eclipse of the Moon and even the Uranus eclipse.

The words I wrote are “fertility” and “regeneration”.

〜Celosias  個性派〜

We often see celosias at flower shops and roadside around this time of year.  As a child, however, I was less fond of it just because of its rather individualistic shape, I thought, was a little scary.  Just as the haiku says what come after its season are wind and snow, making the plant a symbol of the end of fall.

I can’t tell differences of pine tree varieties.  However, my late mother used to be pleased with red pine trees in the nearby Tadasu-no-mori, when we went through the woods.
