I think my late mother used to pick up artemisia leaves just as nothing special to make tansy and other desserts. I hear this kind of plant has robust vitality. We could easily find the plants on the footpaths between rice fields, hills and fields around mother’s house for sure.

Recently, I was fortunate to get acquainted with two people whose names have the kanji character 柚 (yuzu citrus). I think the character is charming in both its literal meaning and its connotation. Moreover, I learned that the tree is said to be very auspicious to bring prosperity to the home where they grow.
