〜Wish on a star　流星群の夜〜

They say the night before last was the best timing to observe the Geminids.  One of my very good friends said she saw five or six shooting stars in a short time.  I didn’t like the severe cold outside, though.  Although she regrets that she didn’t have enough time to make wishes, I am really certain many good things will come to her in succession.

I wrote “Sequel to my dream starts here, now” on a cloth towel of high quality that one of the visitors at the Mother-daughter exhibition presented me.  However, maybe this method of using isn’t proper, I wonder.

〜Ancient Chinese poem　裏庭の赤い実〜

Around this time of year, a small tree in my back garden whose name I don’t know, bear red fruits.  I searched a Chinese poem with this phrase, red fruits, and found this one.  However, the kinds of plants in the poem and in my garden are not the same, I am afraid.

〜Purple umbrella　朝方の夢〜

Somehow, I keep remembering the dream I had very early yesterday morning.  In that dream, I bought a pink umbrella for someone and for myself I bought a big umbrella of vibrant purple.

〜Looking back　十二、三年前の臨書〜

I think I was a better calligraphy student about a dozen years ago than I am now, practicing copying classics.  My present way of practicing is not recommended, I am afraid, because I do less copying practice these couple of months.  The photos are from my first solo exhibition held at the beginning of 2009.
