幼い頃、母に連れられて母の実家に行くと、必ず2〜3羽の鶏がいるので、庭や畑からハコベを摘んできて、細かく切って鶏に食べさせたことが懐かしく思い出されます。

As we are approaching the end of January, I searched for a Zen phrase suited to January or the New Year. It apparently means that a little incident such as “the New Year” renews people’s spirits.
