I searched for a Zen phrase suited to July and found this one. It apparently means draining the water of a great river to the dregs or, furthermore, drinking up the whole universe. In other words, it is supposed to mean you must absorb everything in the cosmos and eventually be non-being rather than stay in a half-hearted attitude.
