〜Long tradition of value　文楽鑑賞〜

My longtime, very good friend invited me to enjoy a Bunraku Japanese puppet show with her.  I was amazed to see how long tradition yields marvelous skills and how perfectly all the tools, including the puppets, of course, are made.

〜Butterfly orchid　踊りの輪〜

At a florist, I bought these butterfly orchids right after the store clerk put out new flowers.  I learned that “dance with me” is the plant’s flower language.

〜Banks’ rose　初恋〜

Flowers of this kind of rose are comparatively small and they bloom in clumps.  So, people get the impression of being very young and pure, and this flower language, “first love” is said to have been designated.

〜Easter lily　目立つ存在〜

Because the plant stood out at a florist, I bought it.  Then I wrote its flower languages, “Sweetness”, “Purity”, and “Majesty”, together with the contemporary haikus containing those words.

〜Unexpected procedure change　光あれ〜

At the concert I went to the other day, the singer on the stage shouted to the audience, “Take out your phones and turn the light on!”, which would have been a completely unimaginable situation long ago.  She continued, “People are all little lights (光)”, which made me even happier and more difficult to stop crying.
