〜Muse concert　女神〜

I went and greatly enjoyed the Muse concert in Osaka.  Who exactly is their Muse, though they call themselves “Muse”, is what I always wonder.  In any case, I renewed my gratitude to the late Mr. Shibuya Yoichi who gave me information about this band many years ago.

〜Minor question　高いのは秋？〜

Our old saying goes that the fall is the season when heaven looks very high and horses get fat.  However, this term indicates that it is the fall season, which is very high.  I believe it is a really clever way to put it, though.

When I first read this modern haiku, I remembered how I enjoyed eating watermelon slices during summer breaks at my grandparents’ house, after my grandfather chilled the fruit in the well.
