〜Pretty little flowers　珍しい一重のマリゴールド〜

The first photo shows my calligraphy of the flower languages of marigold’s, which are “wholeheartedness” and “prophecy”, and the second photo shows, again and again, my longtime friend’s garden.  You can see pretty flowers of single marigold, which, I heard from that friend, that they are very rare.  I was deeply impressed, seeing my friend as a really keen gardener. 

初めの画像は、私の字でマリゴールドの花言葉、「真心」と「予言」です。そして、2枚目の画像は、またも長い友人の家のお庭で、一重のマリゴールドが咲いていますが、これは、その友人によると、とても珍しいものだそうです。さすがに熱心な園芸家だと思います。

〜Tidying up my house　またまた昔の作品〜

Whenever I try to clean my house, I find old pieces that I had completely forgotten.  I think I worked seriously writing this one.  If you look at it very closely, however, you will find some places that lack a feeling of tension.  I am afraid I only had that much talent back then.

〜Mountain, riverhead, clouds　壮大な禅語〜

“Walked through the mountain and reached the riverhead.

And sitting there, saw clouds come into the world.”

There can be different opinions about this Zen phrase, depending on whether you consider the timing or the location be more essential.

この禅語の意味は、「山中を行き水源に辿り着き、そこに座って、雲が沸き起こるところを看る」ということらしく、場所と時のどちらが重要かということで解釈が分かれるようです。
