After a little research, I found out that even in the world of haiku, the word “flower” doesn’t necessarily refer to “cherry blossom”.  Since I thought the flowers in this haiku were a variety of flowers blooming in early summer, I decided to share this work at this time.

Morning clouds passing over the fields of water/

Ah/

The blossoms open/

少し調べてみると、俳句の世界でも「花」は必ずしも「桜」を指すわけではないとのことでした。それで、この時期の初夏の花々の開花の様子が感じられたので、この句をあげようと思いました。
