A good friend of mine, her elementary school girl and I went to the Kanji (Chinese character) Museum. We had a lot more fun than we expected. I have always taken a great interest in how Chinese characters and characters in general were born and developed, such as hieroglyphs and other ancient letters. The museum provides not only various displays but games and quizzes that both adults and children enjoy tremendously.

One of my good friends is a photographer. She says she takes people’s portraits to be used for their funerals and memorial services afterward.
