Since I heard the full moon that is rising this evening will be accompanied by a total eclipse very early tomorrow morning, I found and wrote an ancient Chinese poem titled “Lunar eclipse.” I got tired after struggling with a large piece of paper for the first time in a while, though.

I enjoy this exhibition every year, and I always feel the calming effect of the gentle lights. However, actually creating these fantastic items would require a lot of physical strength. It must be similar to the way water birds look graceful on the surface but move their legs very powerfully underneath.
My calligraphy here consists of an ancient Chinese poem and a haiku, both of which are about bamboo forests.

〜Well-known poem 赤ワイン〜
I used to like drinking white wine when I was young. For I thought it was more “chic”. However, these days, I prefer red wine, as it appears to be beneficial for my health.
My calligraphy here features the famous poem of “Delicious grape sake,” which I have chosen as a material for calligraphy several times before.
