〜Practice session　嬉しい再会〜

Yesterday we had a practice session for the first time in about half and four years.  I got to see many people I hadn’t seen for a long time, and we learned a lot.  I am so happy to have been taught by a good teacher.  We all were glad she resumed her lesson.

〜Excellent gardener in my neighborhood 　葡萄美酒〜

My neighbor, a very good gardener, grows many kinds of beautiful flowers and several fruit trees.  She says these grapes are for making wine.  When she let me taste some, I was surprised they tasted really sweet.

〜Tasty handmade dishes and good saké　美味しいし、楽しいし〜

I am always treated to good food, so I thought I should bring some drinks myself, at least.  Whenever I see saké and distilled spirit, I am attracted to the letters on the labels, which are really individualistic and attractive.  How I wish my calligraphy would be used in this manner!

A long and really good friend sent me a pack of some delicious fruit jellies and cookies a little while ago.  The half-transparent fruit jellies were so tasty and looked fantastic, as well.
