I found some of the flower languages of the tutsan are “superstition”, “secret”, and others.  Almost all the flower languages tend to be downright lively and optimistic.  In that regard, the plant’s flower languages somewhat differ from most others.

The Chinese word for the flower, marigold, is “万寿菊” or “overfull of happiness celebration flower”.  The plant’s language for the orange-colored flower is “wholeheartedness”.  Following is a story of the origin of the flower language.  It goes, “A good-looking young boy was happy just to see Apollo’s face every day.  Apollo himself noticed the boy’s affection and began to love him.  However, the god of clouds, full of jealousy, covered Apollo’s face.  After eight days, the boy died in deep sorrow.  The boy’s love moved Apollo.  And it is believed that the flower’s language should be wholeheartedness.”
