I am not sure how many years ago, but I remember when, on a walk with my late mother in a wheelchair and enjoying a very warm, bright New Year’s Day, she said feelingly, “It is such a pleasing, beautiful New Year”.

These photos are full of sweet memories. They are from the Mother-Daughter exhibition held in fall 2022. The first one shows my mother’s calligraphy on thick paper, and the second one shows my mother’s works again and her father’s calligraphy of the list of auspicious betrothal gifts from him to my grandpa on my father’s side.
