〜Day 1　搬入してきました〜

Today is the first day of the fun event called the Postcard Collection.  I carried in my calligraphy on postcards to the venue yesterday.  You will find them displayed on the right wall very near the entrance.  This exhibition is until Sunday, December 4.  I hope many of you will go and enjoy it.

I am pleased to announce that I was allowed to participate in the postcard collection event, now I don’t remember how many times it happens, though.  Somehow, yesterday I did all forty cards to be displayed at a clip.

〜Exhibition of original pictures　小さな屏風〜

The Japanese part of the title says “small folding screen”.  However actually, I am afraid it is of a size that wouldn’t give you a clear idea of how to use.  Still, I strongly wish it would draw some visitor’s attention at the original picture exhibition of the postcard collection.  For it has my favorite phrase, “cherish and illuminate”.

〜Gracefulness　ハガキ作品その5〜

The character is “雅” or “gracefulness”, which is the last one of the five of postcard works.  

Regardless of age or gender, being graceful is an important quality as a person.

As a matter of fact, the letter was suggested by my long-time friend just like “oar”.

The word is “漲溢” or overflowing of accumulated energy.  

When I wrote this word last month, I was thinking of making it into a postcard work.

Somehow, I like the characters and the image they carry.  Something powerful

〜Different style of writing　ハガキ作品その3〜

The word is “瑞祥” or auspicious omen.  

The word is the same as I wrote previously.  Only the style is different.  This one is meant to be exhibited at the postcard collection.  

It makes me feel great to write some characters or words that suggest good fortune, anyway.

〜Something to control your life　ハガキ作品その2〜

The letter is “櫂” or “oar”.  

This is meant to be shown at the postcard collection exhibition just like the last one.  And this letter was suggested by a very long-time friend of mine.  It means just a part of a boat but it must be a very important part because it controls where you are headed for.
