I remember/
Beneath the bright moon, my old mother’s heart/
Slowly unwound/
I remember taking my late mother, in her wheelchair, out for evening walks. When she saw a beautiful moon, she would be so happy, and even after getting home, she would say, “Oh, I saw such a beautiful moon! I wish I had prayed to it.” I never would have thought she was the kind of person to say something like that.
