Recently, I was fortunate to get acquainted with two people whose names have the kanji character 柚 (yuzu citrus).  I think the character is charming in both its literal meaning and its connotation.  Moreover, I learned that the tree is said to be very auspicious to bring prosperity to the home where they grow.

So large Mt. Fuji appeared/

So white yuzu citron flowers/

最近「柚」の字をお名前に持つお二人の方と知り合いました。綺麗な字だと思います。直接の意味も、間接の意味も。しかも、柚はお庭で育つとその家は繁栄するという縁起の良い木らしいです。
