The Xiaoxue period, the 20th of the 24 solar terms, is allocated to around 15 days starting today.  It is already winter; however, it is not very cold in the daytime, but it gets really cold after sunset.  Here is 小雪 or Xiaoxue in pale ink and a modern haiku of the season in deep-colored ink.

今日から15日間ほどの二十四節気は「小雪」で、冬とはいえ、昼間はそこまで冷え込まないけれども、夕方以降はぐっと気温が下がるというのがこの時期の特徴のようです。それで、薄墨で「小雪」、濃い墨で現代俳句を書きました。
