I got a schedule book for 2021 by my favorite astrologer, Ishii Yukari with her brief prophecy card. It says if the year 2021 for me is liken to a kind of fruits, it would be mandarin orange, which indicates the year will be “abundant”. Surely, the name makes me imagine a tree loaded with lots of fruits. However, it also indicates unpretentious manner, I think.

It is difficult to compose a good layout when writing a haiku. It is very natural that you want to divide the work into three parts according to the poem’s composition. However, doing so will just make a pretty lame and poor-taste piece. Because as a general rule, haiku’s have only seventeen syllables, it is very difficult to figure out a good layout.
