游　Drifting and playing in the flow of water

This character is less commonly used than the standard “遊,” but I like the way it looks.  While its meaning seems to be the same, playing or having fun, it contains the “water” radical, so it seems the character specifically means “playing by the water.”

水の流れに漂い游ぶ

この字は一般的に使われる「遊」よりもマイナーですが、私はこの字姿が好きです。意味は同じように遊ぶ・楽しむといったところのようですが、さんずい篇があるので、水辺で游ぶという意味になるようです。
