A very good friend who is a keen gardener gave me a photo of a gerbera in her garden.  She says she got its nursery plant for a bargain.  I was amazed at her gardening skills, so I wrote the flower’s Japanese name, “花車” or flower wheel, and a contemporary haiku about the flower.
