It is already the last week of March.  I searched for a Zen phrase for March and found this one, which apparently means that just as there is a difference in the length of tree branches, there are trivial differences in people’s lives and that the sun shines equally on the earth, however, there will be different results.

３月ももう最終週ですが、3月の禅語を探してみました。

木の枝に長い短いがあるように、人の生活の中には様々に瑣末な差がある。春の陽光は地上に公平に注がれているけれど、それぞれ結果は異なってくる、といった意味らしいです。
