This is my third time of visiting this calligraphy exhibition specialized in calligraphy of kana, or Japanese phonetic letters.  Although I know this is a conceited comment, I am certain its level has kept rising.  So, I was really looking forward to visiting its next exhibit. However, to my great disappointment, I heard this time would be the last.

Now, I do hope calligraphers assembled here will organize a new group and organize a new exhibition series.

この仮名の書展を見学させていただくのは、これで3回目になります。生意気な発言ですが、どんどん見応えが出てきます。それで次が楽しみと思っていたのに、残念なことにこれが最終回なのだそうです。

そういうことなら、ここに出展されている書家さんたちが新しい会を結成して、新しい展覧会を開かれるのを楽しみにしたいと思います。
