It is a phrase by Ms. Yukari Ishii (in Japanese) written on a small piece of paper attached to her new book….To be honest, I bought the book only because I wanted to get that little piece of paper with her words. When first I opened the book, I wimped out a bit because of its overdramatic ring, however, I had second thought about it and determined to give it my all as this phrase suggests.

石井ゆかりさんの２０１５年の双子座のためのコメントですが、初めの部分に「創作」という比喩を使って長文を始めておられるので、ドキッとしました。普通に考えれば彼女の意図は、「芸術全般の創作を比喩として使う」ということだと思いますが、私にはそれが「書道」としか思えないので、初め読んだときドキッとしたのです。

At the first part of her long article she uses “art creation” as an imagery, which surprised me a lot. It is obvious that she intended “to use art creation in general as an analogy”. However, since it read only “Japanese-style calligraphy” and nothing else, I was startled when I first read it.
