The phrase that symbolizes this time of year is this, “Trout migrates upstream in dense”.  I simply have no knowledge about trout biology.  I have only seen how the fish swim up the rivers on TV or some other sources.

この時期の七十二候の名称で、「鱖魚群」つまり、鮭が群がり川を上るということらしいです。けれども私には鮭の生態についての知識はありません。ただ、テレビなどで川を遡って泳ぐ魚の姿を見たことがあるだけです。
