This phrase, the seasonal phrase for around five days from today, means “maple leaves and ivy leaves begin to turn to autumn colors”.  So, I thought of taking pretty photos to accompany my calligraphy.  However, as we have been having warm days for November, especially in the daytime, I can’t find suitable places to take such photos around my house.

今日から5日間ほどの七十二候です。もみじや蔦の葉が黄ばむ頃とのことですが、このところお昼間は11月とも思えない暑さになっていて私の書に添える綺麗な写真を撮りたかったのですが、そのような光景は家の近くではあまり見当たりません。
