It is Valentine’s Day today. I remember something fun used to happen on this day when I was younger. But that kind of event seldom happens these days. However, the days are becoming brighter and warmer, which is just wonderful. I found on the internet a modern haiku of a combination of everyday scenes and this particular day.
We celebrate the Valentine’s Day/
With miso soup and vegetables pickled in saké lees/
