It is a long tradition to have seven-herb porridge for breakfast on January 7th.  I have always liked this custom but this year I tried to find English words for those herbs for the first time in my life.

water dropwort, shepherd’s purse, cudweed, chickweed, henbit, turnip, daikon radish
