When I saw the first character, I wondered if it was some kind of symbol you might find in a mathematical formula.  But learning that it represents the steady, diligent effort made me feel both a little surprised and very happy.  I hope that over 60 years of my effort will bear fruit someday.

It apparently means, as a whole, that if you just wait patiently, spring will be here soon.

一つ目の字を見たら、何かしら数式の中にでも出てきそうな記号？　とか思いましたが、「地道に努力する際の表現」のコツコツを表す字だと知って、意外だったけれどもとても嬉しい気分になりました。60年以上の私の努力がいつか実ればいいなと思います。全体としては、じっと待っていれば、春はもうすぐだよということを言っているようです。
