This is my work from eight years ago, which tells a story of a demon-god, certainly a bold combination of “demon” and “god”.  The term refers to terrifying yet immensely powerful spiritual entities.  In Buddhism and folk beliefs, it refers to supernatural beings that possess both benevolent guardian and malevolent spirit aspects.  I find it truly intriguing that it is not a simple concept of just one or the other.

8年前の作品です。鬼神の物語ですが、鬼と神を合わせるとは大胆な組み合わせですが、恐ろしくも強大な霊的存在であり、仏教や民間信仰では人々を守護する善鬼と、災いをもたらす悪鬼の両面をもつ超自然的存在を指すとのことで、どちらか一方といった単純な思想ではないということが面白いと思います。
