I thought I would write a Zen phrase that fits the month of October.  And I found this one, after searching on the net for a while.  It apparently means that results will naturally come, whether they are good or bad.  What you can do is try your best and wait for the conclusions.

Now, I do not have anything to disagree with.  However, I am not sure why the phrase is introduced as the one representing the fall season.

10月という時節に相応しい禅語を書きたいと思って探したらこれが見つかりました。良くても悪くても、結果は自然についてくるという意味らしいです。だから、精一杯頑張って、そのあとはただ静かに待つのがいいらしい。

なるほど・・・ただ解らないのは、何故これが秋に相応しい言葉なのかということです。
