This is the seasonal phrase or solar term for about five days starting today, which apparently means it is the time of year when wagtails begin singing in sweet voices.  Although I live close to a forest surrounding a shrine and see many kinds of birds daily, I am not sure which is this kind.  Maybe I have seen them sometimes and heard their beautiful chirping, I am just not sure.

今日から5日間ほどの七十二候で、セキレイが綺麗な声で鳴き始める頃とのことですが、この鳥がよくわかりません。神社を取り巻く森のすぐ近くに住んでいますので、日々たくさんの鳥を見ますし、これも見ていてその美しい鳴き声も聴いているのかもしれませんが。
