I remember hearing this long ago, when I was much younger, and while listening to an English-language program on the radio.   However, I don’t know how those teachers on the program chatted to come up with these words.

随分と以前の、まだ若かった頃の思い出ですが、ラジオの英会話番組を聴いていたら、この言葉が聞こえました。けれども講師の人たちがどういう経緯でこの言葉を言ったのかは思い出せません。
