A number of collaborated works by my late mother and myself will be exhibited at the eventscheduled for the end of this month.  And among them this is the very first collaboration with my mother.  Firstly I asked her to draw a circle using pale ink and I wrote a passage from one of Laozi’s well-known productions.  It was originally shown at my first solo exhibition held at the beginning of 2009.

The outline of the mother-daughter exhibition to be held follows:

Name of the exhibition: 絹江と知子 (Kinue and Tomoko)

Date and time: Saturday, October 29, 2022 – Monday, October 31

            From 11:00 – 17:00 (October 29, 30)

            From 11:00 – 16:00 (October 31)

亡母との共同制作の作品を多数今月末に予定している作品展にて飾る予定ですが、これが初めの試みでした。薄墨の丸を母に描いてもらい、老子の道徳経の一節を私が書きました。2009年初めに開いた私の初めての個展で飾りました。

今回の親娘展の概要は下記の通りです。
