“New Year” naturally makes me think of my future, but I am really poor at thinking of the future.  When I taught at an English language school for children, I was very good at making a teaching plan for each lesson. However, it was almost impossible for me to think of how I would like the whole class to be at the end of the school year.

新年だからやはり将来のことを考えなければと思いますが、どうも私は先のことを考えるのが苦手です。英語教室で教えていたときも、1回の授業のティーチングプランは立てられても、では、このクラスにはこれからの1年でどうなって欲しいのかといったことが考えられませんでした。
