The second image shows the gorgeous pink roses I found at a neighbor’s entrance.

“Love” and “Beauty” are often referred to as the flower languages of roses.  Apparently, “Gratitude” is also listed as one of those languages in Japan.  So, the first image is “Gratitude”.

When giving roses to someone, they say the meaning of the flower words will change depending on how many flowers you will give.  It seems much more complicated than you expect.

二番目の画像は、ご近所さんのお玄関で見つけた見事なピンクの薔薇。

よく見かける薔薇の花言葉は「愛」や「美」ですが、ピンクの薔薇の場合、日本では「感謝」もその花言葉として挙げられているらしいです。

薔薇の場合は、本数によっても花言葉の意味が変わるらしいです。思ったよりも難しいかも。
