As I often do, I practiced copying my first calligraphy teacher’s model works he left me many years ago.

Every time I do this, again and again, I thank my lucky stars for having this great calligraphy master as my teacher.

.

Now, I am sorry that until quite recently I kept hesitating to clearly state my being a pupil of the late Mr. Akiyama Kodo （秋山公道）, just because, I think, I felt myself too poor to be one.

I am determined to keep making efforts to be able to say this with confidence.
