昨日は、北野天満宮に行ってきました。時節柄梅花祭も催されていましたし。とにかく混んでいました。

学問の神様の菅原道真が祀られていますが、この詩は、幼少の頃（一説には五歳のとき）書いたとされているようです。

I visited Kitano-Tenmangu, where Japanese plum festival (in Japanese) was held yesterday.　It was jammed with incredible number of people.

Sugawara no Michizane, God of literature and calligraphy is enshrined here.　The photo shows my work of his poem which is believed to be his work as a child (according to one theory, his work when he was five years of age),
