“Green is hope; hope is green.”

We seem to have been hearing only sad stories and news these days.

But when I was walking along the approach to a shrine near my house, I happened to look up and saw much greenery and clear sky.  Then I thought I felt “hope”.

悲しい知らせやニュースばかりを聞くような気もします。

けれども近くの神社の参道を歩きながら、ふと上を見ると緑の木々ときれいな空が見え、そうしたら何となく希望を感じたような気分になりました。
