〜Solar terms  立夏も半ば〜

As the Lixia period of about two weeks started on May 5th, we are now about halfway through it.

Here is a contemporary haiku about this period of beginning of

the summer.

You didn’t need to learn to integrate/

Summer arrived anyway/

5月5日から2週間ほどの期間が立夏なので、つまり半ばを過ぎた頃と言えます。

立夏を題材にした現代俳句です。

〜Solar terms  立夏〜

The period of about two weeks from today is designated as Lixia, that is, today being the first day of summer according to the twenty-four solar terms.  Accordingly, I wrote a Chinese poem and a haiku concerning this time year.

今日から2週間ほどの間は二十四節気の立夏に当たります。つまり今日が夏の始まりです。それで、立夏の頃の漢詩と俳句を書きました。
