I visited the grave of my mother’s family the day before yesterday and yesterday I found this in the closet of my house. A tanka poem composed by my grandfather on my mother’s side is written by himself. He expressed his sorrow of losing his wife. This one will be exhibited at the mother-daughter exhibition scheduled for the end of this month.

おととい亡母の実家の墓参に行き、昨日これをうちの押し入れの中から見つけました。母方の祖父の自作の歌と書です。妻が先だったときの悲しみを書いたようです。これも今月末に予定している母と私の書の作品展で飾ろうと思います。
