Month of March 旧暦三月
The photo shows my work of more three years before, but despite my intention of posting it on March 1st, I kept forgetting about it. And today falls on March 1st on the old, lunar calendar, I finally post it here.

Simmering cooking technique これぞ和食？
In order to accommodate my mother’s taste, these days I often cook traditional kind of simmered dishes. I never imagined myself cooking like this when I was young.

Springtime picnic サンドイッチで
Although I never intend to put in a good word about it (in fact, the store worker had a terrible attitude), my mother and I happened to buy sandwiches at a nearby shop of a famous coffeehouse chain and had them on the river bank of the Takano River (in Japanese) enjoying the cherry blossoms which were only early stage of blooming then.

別に宣伝したい訳ではありませんが（実際、店員の態度が悪かったし）、近くにある有名なコーヒーのチェーン店でサンドイッチを買って、高野川べりで母とお花見をしながらいただきました。そのときには、まだせいぜい三分咲きでしたが。

Court of justice 初めての経験
Because of a big, important issue that includes the history, scenery and environment of the community, for the first time in my life, I witnessed a scene of lawyers file a complaint, which were received by the court and then a press conference held afterward.
Actually the cherry blossoms didn’t flower at all at that time unlike this haiku.

ある用件（地域の歴史・景観・環境などを含む大きな問題）のために、初めて裁判所で弁護士さんが訴状を提出し、裁判所の人がそれを受け取って、その後、記者会見が開かれる、という場面を見ました。
この俳句とは違って、このときは桜はまだまだでしたが。

Unclear sky and cherry blossoms 花曇り
According to the expectation by many people that the cherry blossoms this year are at their best today, my mother and I went to enjoy them to the river bank of the Takano River (in Japanese).
As my mother is most pleased with the place, we usually walk up and down the bank.
